Tuesday Night Heroes - 20 Fall Ballers - 13.
TNH needed to win game 1 against the Fall Ballers and came out swinging, taking the opener 20-13. Patterson (4/4), Mitchell (4/4), Wesolowski (3/3), and Stager (3/3) were perfect at the plate, and Stumm added two hits including a big HR. Everyone in the lineup had a hit and the defense backing P Hamann made the hard-hitting Ballers earn every run.
Fall Ballers 10 - Tuesday Night Heroes - 9, 8 innings.
Luckily for the Ballers, they were able to stop The Heroes for the last 5 innings. Great pitching and defense carried us to the victory. Never led till the 8th inning. Rising to the occasion in game 2 was Bob Zubkoff going 3/3 3r and 2 OTFHR. Other players chipping in were Ted Theaker 3/3 2r, Tim Kuszmaul 2/4, Dave Durfey 2/3 2r OTFHR, Sid Siddall 2/2, Randy Bores 2/3 and, Bob Miller 2/3. Congratulation to the Gurkhas for winning both of their game to be Co-Champions with the Fall Ballers for the Title. Thank you to all of my teammates for a fun and successful season.
